raised £2,712.
  • Pledges and donations for Derek Nightingale’s Organ Marathon on 31 October have reached £704, bringing Appeal Fund up toalmost £37,000.
Oct 17 Safari Supper - The Safari Supper raised over £1,800.00.

Oct 31  Sponsored Organ Marathon in St Agatha's Church by Derek Nightingale raised £2,500.00

Nov 8 Christmas cards now on sale in support of the Appeal.  Available from The Village Stores; Rosemary Greasby (tel. 836943); Irene Lascelles (tel. 837910) and Roy Thorpe (tel. 837334).

Dec Alleluia! The Appeal target of £45,000 has been reached. The bells will be lowered from the church tower in April next year and taken to White's of Appleton for restoration. They should be ringing out again well before Christmas 2016
