Marathon - Saturday 31st October
Our redoubtable Church organist, Derek Nightingale, undertook a mammoth challenge on the last day of October. He played 50 pieces of music on St Agatha’s marvellous organ by 50 different composers over a three hour period starting from 2pm. It was a “pop-in pop-out” affair rather than a three hour concert, and succeeded in raising £2,500.00 in sponsorship.
